On 05-07-10, Deputies responded to Robinson St. and Ave. 310 in Goshen regarding shots fired. Upon arrival Deputies learned unknown suspects fired numerous rounds at a residence located in the 30900 block of Robinson striking two vehicles and the residence. The suspect fired from a vehicle and fled the scene North on Robinson. Occupants of the residence were in the front yard at the time of the incident and no injuries were reported.

Further investigation revealed the (s) to be in possession of two small bindles of suspected Methamphetamine with an estimated street value $100 dollars. The (s) was arrested without incident and later transported to the Bob Wiley Detention Facility.

On 05-07-10 the Inter Agency Narcotic Enforcement Team (I.N.E.T.) consisting of personnel from Exeter Police Department, Lindsay Police Department, Farmersville Police Department, Visalia Police Department, Tulare County Probation Department and the Tulare County Sheriffs Department concluded a three week investigation and served a narcotic search warrant in the 130 Block of South "H" St., Exeter. Suspect Dodson, Alan Gregory Dodson was arrested and booked into the Tulare County Jail for the following charges:

11377 H&S Possession of methamphetamine

11378 H&S Possession of methamphetamine for sales

11550 H&S Under the Influence of a controlled substance.

11364 H&S Possession of drug paraphernalia

11357 (b) H&S Possession of marijuana

11358 H&S Cultivation of marijuana

11366 H&S Maintaining a place for the purpose of sales/use of narcotics

11350 H&S Possession of a controlled substance (prescription)

Suspect Dodsons bail was set at $ 30,000.00.

On 04/11/10 at approximately 1625 hrs deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department Cutler / Orosi substation were in area of First and Orosi Drives when they heard several shots being fired in the area. The deputies were flagged down by a citizen advising of a Male Hispanic that was suffering from a gunshot wound. First Aid was rendered and the victim was transported to a local hospital by ambulance where he was pronounced deceased upon arrival.

Detectives from the Sheriff’s Department’s Violent Crimes Unit were called to investigate the incident. The ensuing investigation revealed that the victim was involved in an argument with an unknown individual and was shot in the upper torso and succumbed to his wounds.

 

Update

 

During the course of this investigation detectives developed additional information and subsequently arrested a 16 year old male for murder and murder for the benefit of a criminal street gang. The juvenile was booked into Juvenile Hall.

Upon arrival and through investigation Deputies determined this was an assault with deadly weapon. The victim was transported to KDDH hospital via ambulance to be treated for his wounds. Suspect In Custody for False Misrepresentation & Conspiracy to Commit Theft

Suspects:  Robert Bullock age 45, Betty Fipps age 30 both of Visalia

On 4-23-10 at approx. 1055 hours, Tulare County Sheriff Deputies responded to the above area in regards to a possible theft of Agricultural equipment. Upon arrival it was learned that the above suspects and a third party had conspired to sell Agricultural related equipment that did not belong to them. The suspects represented themselves as owners of the property and obtained U.S. currency from (V)2 to purchase the property.

The Tulare County Sheriff’s Agricultural Crimes Unit was contacted and took over the investigation.

On 4-29-10, during the subsequent investigation, the AG Crimes Unit conducted an undercover operation and the suspects returned to the property to sell additional items that they did not own. The suspects were contacted at the scene and arrested without incident. This investigation is ongoing and anyone with additional information is asked to please contact Det. Jordan Whaley or Sgt. Narrative: 

Detectives from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department South End Investigation Unit responded to Alila School in Earlimart regarding a burglary. The investigation revealed unknown suspects broke into the building and stole computers and electronic equipment totaling $11,200.

Further investigation revealed the identity of two suspects in the Earlimart area. Searches of their residences were done and numerous items were located which belonged to Alila school. The items recovered consisted of Laptops, Televisions, Computers, Wii Game Systems, Projectors, Microscopes, Video Cameras, and more. The total recovery exceeded $10,000.

The subject then took her vehicle and purse by force. There were no injuries and no medical attention was needed.

Attempted Homicide Investigation
LOCATION:  Ave 200, Approx. .5 miles west of Rd 196          DATE:  04-26-10          TIME:  1930 hrs

Porterville patrol deputies were dispatched to the above location regarding a man down call.  Upon arrival, the victim was located on the side of the road.  

 

A passerby observed the victim laying on the side of the road and called for assistance.

 

The victim appeared to have trauma to the head and was air lifted to a Fresno hospital. 

 

Violent Crimes and Forensic Investigations Units were called to investigate the case.  During the course of the investigation, a suspect was located and arrested for attempted homicide.  The suspect is identified at Tommy Wiley III, age 30 of Tulare.

Gang Injunction and Arrests in Cutler Orosi Area

Deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department, including Detectives from the Gang Violence Suppression Unit, STEP unit, Patrol Deputies and Community Based Officers, along with Officers from the Tulare County Probation Department, served Court Ordered Gang Injunctions in the communities of Cutler and Orosi today. Deputies and officers contacted and served 13 suspected gang members from both Northern and Southern affiliated gangs.

 

During the Injunction Service detail, deputies and officers contacted several other subjects in the area, including 6 subjects that were arrested for various Penal code and Health & Safety code violations. The subjects that were arrested were taken to the Tulare County Main Jail in Visalia for booking.

Charges: 11377 HS Possession of a Controlled Substance/3056 PC Violation of Parole

 

5) Name: Villa, Ismael                 Age: 19 years       Residence: Orange Cove

Charges: 1203.2 PC Violation of Probation

Narrative:

 

On 4/25/10 at approximately 1638 hours, Tulare County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies responded to the area of Rd 84 and Ave 208 in Tulare regarding a report of an assault.

 

Violent Crimes Detectives responded and the investigation revealed the Victim had been physically assaulted while in the area of Rd 84 and Ave 208 in Tulare. The victim was in stable condition and transported to a local hospital for treatment. The suspect, Jose Granados was later located and arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and driving under the influence.

     On 4-24-10, at 1825 hours, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department along with Tulare County Fire Dept. responded to an address in Strathmore regarding a report of a fire. Upon arrival it was discovered that a victim of a spousal abuse case escaped the home and the suspect lit the vehicles that were parked in the driveway on fire.  The suspect then barricaded himself inside the residence and refused to cooperate with Law Enforcement.  After several hours of negotiations the Tulare County S.T.E.P. Unit entered the home and the suspect was taken into custody without incident.
